Welcome to the Leon Boesch Estate...

Located in the Vallée Noble in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges nature park, it is protected from storms by the Petit and Grand Ballon (1267 and 1427 metres).
This valley is an arena of about 4 km in diameter, sheltered from the bad weather, in which you can observe the wind caressing the wine hills. Their vineyards benefit from a favourable climate, with the hillsides about 2 km around, up to 450 metres above sea level.
They own 14.5 hectares of vines, including 2.7 hectares of Zinnkoepflé Grand Cru classé, 4 hectares of Breitenberg, 1.6 hectares of Clos Zwingel and 1.1 hectares of Luss Hill. The family farm employs 6 people, as well as many occasional helpers during pruning and green work. For them the quality of the wine is built in the vineyard! They harvest only by hand, in a cheerful atmosphere that celebrates the wine to come.
The grapes are gently pressed for 8 to 12 hours to bring out all the substance and aromas. The juices flow by gravity to the subsoil, where they slowly ferment with their own yeast. The wines mature in old oak tuns for the white and in barrels for the red.
