Welcome to the Domaine de Clos Troteligotte

Birth of the estate in 1987, at that time it was called "Cap Blanc". At that time it exploited cereals, vines, there were also ducks.
Typical of the region where for a long time the diversity created a certain form of self-sufficiency, and reassured the endemics.
After a few trips to train with other winegrowers in the United States and Australia Emmanuel Rybinski returned home to the Lot and joined his father and uncle on the estate in 2004.
With a very precise vision, he would like to convert the estate to organic farming and enhance the value of the wines from each parcel. This is how the estate's cultivation practices will evolve.
A few tumults later in 2008 Emmanuel created the Clos Troteligotte.
Under the Cahors appellation in Villesèque in the South West of France, it has been under organic farming since 2014 and goes biodynamic in 2017.
By choosing to work a selection in micro plots according to the richness of iron oxide in the soil, Emmanuel has marvellously declined the Malbec grape variety in order to offer a different approach to this emblematic grape variety of the region.
I'll let you make up your own mind about his wines.

A picture's worth more than a thousand words...
